Day 1

Morning:  Mountain bike in the morning when it’s still cool!  There are almost 200km of maintained trails in and around Rossland, with many of them leaving right from the hotel.  Check out the family friendly park style flowy Dragon Tail trail, or Blue Elephant trail.

Afternoon:  Head to Nancy Green Lake with its large, white sandy beach and refreshing alpine water.

Evening:  If your crew still has some energy, bike, walk or drive into Rossland to enjoy some dinner at one of the many locations in town.  At 7:30pm, the Gold Fever Follies live theatre perform in the Miners Hall during July and August (Tues.-Sat).

Day 2

Morning:  Spend the morning enjoying the golf course at Redstone, or the disc golf course at BlackJack.

Afternoon:  Bike, walk or drive into Rossland to pick up supplies for a hike up Kootenay Columbia (KC).  Here on Wed – Fri?  Stop by Hooper’s for a pain au chocolate or a freshly baked baguette to enjoy with some gourmet cheese from Ferraro Foods.  Mountain Nugget Chocolate can hook you up with some locally made treats to enjoy après hike.  After the hike, head back into Rossland to grab a cold treat and then enjoy a swim at the Rossland Pool.

Evening:  Back at the hotel, challenge your crew to a game of ladder toss or cornhole on the deck of the Velvet.  Enjoy refreshing drinks and delicious dinner while you’re making family memories!

Day 3

Spend the day doing what you love; mountain biking, hiking, walking the trails, or whatever your heart desires.  If you’re heading home this afternoon, you’ll want to do something special before you head out: may we suggest a hike up Redhead to Poochies Cabin?  Or, enjoy a leisurely departure and then head to the Slocan, where Endless Adventure can hook you up with a shuttle and equipment to enjoy floating down the Slocan River.
